Porsche 992 3.0T Valved Sport Exhaust System
Porsche 992 3.0T Valved Sport Exhaust System
Titsonic is pleased to offer the APR Catback Exhaust System for Porsche 992 Carrera, Targa and Dakar 3.0T models as well as 992 Turbo and Sport Classic 3.7T models.
Our premium catback exhaust system for the Porsche 911 (992) is a full T304 stainless steel system with quad exits. It features dual 3" & 2" exhaust paths that creates an exhaust note that's sure to turn heads! The cross-sectional area on the non-valved paths are 66% larger than stock, and the valved paths are 19% larger. Yet despite this, the system weighs 37% lighter than the upgraded Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE)! The short valved paths let the system scream at wide-open throttle with minimal backpressure and maximum exhaust velocity through the system, which is exactly what a turbocharged engine wants. And when cruising, the valves close, allowing the system to act civilized with enough growl to let you know it's there. Of course everything in the system is high quality. All tubing is brushed T304 stainless steel with mandrel bends and TIG welding throughout. The exhaust valves are cast and feature premium components. The mounting brackets are CNC-bent and CNC-laser cut for a precision fit. All this makes for a premium system that's simple to install, is larger than stock, weighs less than stock, and sounds amazing in every scenario.

Materials and care
Valved sport exhaust systems are crafted from premium materials to ensure durability, performance, and an aggressive exhaust note. Common materials include:
Stainless Steel (304/409 Grade)
- Pros: Corrosion-resistant, durable, cost-effective.
- Best for: Daily-driven cars, budget-friendly systems.
- Care: Rinse with water after winter/salt exposure; occasional polish with metal cleaner.
Titanium (Grade 1/2 or Ti-6Al-4V Alloy)
- Pros: Ultra-lightweight (50% lighter than steel), high heat resistance, exotic blue/purple heat discoloration.
- Best for: Track-focused builds, supercars (e.g., McLaren, Lamborghini).
- Care: Avoid abrasive cleaners; use mild soap + microfiber cloth.
Inconel (High-Temperature Alloy)
- Pros: Extreme heat resistance (F1/racing use), no warping under stress.
- Best for: Turbocharged hypercars (e.g., Porsche 911 GT2 RS).
- Care: Minimal maintenance; inspect for cracks under heavy track use.
Carbon Fiber Tips/Accents
- Pros: Lightweight, aesthetic appeal.
- Care: Wipe with damp cloth; avoid harsh chemicals to prevent resin damage.
Valve Mechanism Components
Actuators: Electric or vacuum-controlled (OEM-style reliability).
Butterfly Valves: Stainless steel or titanium flippers for smooth operation.
Control Modules: Bluetooth/Wi-Fi (Armytrix), OEM integration (Akrapovic).
Care & Maintenance Tips
To preserve performance and appearance:
✅Do’s
Rinse after winter/salt exposure (stainless steel systems).
Use high-temperature exhaust polish (for shine + corrosion protection).
Lubricate valve hinges annually (silicone spray to prevent sticking).
Check for leaks/loose clamps (after installation or track days).
❌Don’ts
Avoid acidic wheel cleaners (can stain titanium/exotic metals).
Don’t force valves manually (may damage actuators).
No pressure washing near valves/electronics (risk of water ingress).
